It was a great time that weekend. First time I’ve ever actually seen other countries supporting America! Too bad they destroyed us! I’m glad NZ ended up winning it all. They deserved to do it in their own country. Only wish we got a photo of Dan Carter with your Hell hand. Oh well!

You must be quite a patient person to take photos like that. But the result is great. I took a look at your other albums. There is one with pictures of water. They are good!
In the meantime you had an operation? Still troubles from the accident? Or was it the last bit?

Greenstone,

I was unaware that carving your own greenstone and keeping it was bad luck. I was told that as long as you carved it yourself, the bad luck did not apply; it was just when you bought one for yourself rather than gifting it. Ah well…it’s a bit too late now, but I’ll know for next time.

That’s really a shame. I wouldn’t have thought that would happen with Steve–he was so attentive and helpful when we were there! That’s terrible he laughed as well I hope the rest of your trip to the West Coast was better!

In Moari Tradition you are supposed to give greenstone that you find and carve. Its bad luck to keep it to yourself. You are supposed to receive greenstone as a gift.

wow seems like u had a great day … me and my girlfriend didnt …we were just ignored by Steven …seemed he spent more time out of the shop than in it …everyone was just helping themselves to equipment …… Steven laughed at our results ….we were not happy either …. not a treasure but I considered it a waste of time and money ……
